SEERE WEATHER BEGINS ABOUT 11:00 PM TONIGHT TONIGHT: Winds shift to the NorthWest as the front moves through about 11pm to 12 midnight. Winds gust up to 30mph starting midnight to 1am...this is the same time the SNOW SQUALL is expected (about midnight) - the strength of these winds along with the snow burst could bring visibility down to zero (white out conditions) - Flurries end 5am to 7am with total accumulation only about 1”. Some Northern locations may see 2”. EXTREMELY COLD AIR begins to spill in about 4am. BLOWING SNOW continues through Monday Night. AIR TEMPERATURES and WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES drop to the lowest (of this time period) by 7am. Temperatures drop to near zero by 7am. Wind chills drop to -20 degrees. MONDAY: Expect BLOWING & DRIFTING SNOW all day winds will mostly blow near 20mph with wind gust to 30mph. Skies Clear. TEMPERATURES AND WIND CHILLS hold steady all day through about 4pm. Temp near 0 to 2 degrees, wind chill -20. TEMPERATURES begin dropping late afternoon then tank after sunset (5:59pm). MONDAY NIGHT: Temperatures continue to drop throughout the night, sinking to -15 by 7am. NW Winds expected at 20mph will create Wind Chill Temperatures as cold as -40 degrees. TUESDAY: As kids head to school about 9am (with the 2 hour delay) the wind chill will be about -30. Sunny skies and lighter winds from the west about 10mph. Temperatures warm to single digits before beginning another descent after 4pm. TUESDAY NIGHT: Temperatures drop to 0 degrees to 3 below zero. Mostly clear skies. SW winds 5 to 10mph. WEDNESDAY: Sunny, warming to the teens. THURSDAY: Morning low temp -3 degrees. Afternoon temperatures warming to near 30 degrees. Slim chance of snow.
