Garrett Lee Como Either youre doing good deeds for self-gratifying and self-glorifying reasons, ultimately. Or you do it because it is a righteous godly selfless act. Once you admit there is such thing as a godly selfless act you have to conclude there is a God. That you do good not for a reward in heaven. But because God is within you and sees what you see through you, through each of us. God wants nobody to perish. Evolution can not even come close to explaining human nature in these scenarios. Why some of us would risk our lives for others. In any of these scenarios the person could have just looked the other way and let the victim die. And really, nothing would change in your life.. Or would you feel guilty for the rest of your life for not helping? Who cares from an atheist perspective! What is guilt when youre dead? Garrett Lee Como What are good deeds without faith?
