SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - LIVERPOOL liverpool.nsw.gov.au Ref: 2014/3469 1 x Permanent Full Time – 35 hours, 5 days per week Salary: Salary Range $63,952.12 pa to $70,075.25 pa Contact: Les Chegwidden on 9821 9292 Closing Date: Friday 31 October 2014 Liverpool City Council has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated senior administrative professional to provide and maintain high quality customer service and administrative assistance, support and information to the Development Assessment Team within the Planning and Growth Directorate. The key responsibilities in this role are Supporting the Development Assessment Team in formatting and finalising reports and managing correspondence and appointments Supervising and mentoring the Development Assessment Admin Team Timely, accurate word processing and data entry Providing and maintaining administrative and record keeping systems to improve overall efficiency Assisting and acting in the Team Leader Business Support role as required To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate sound time management and organisational skills with experience at a senior level in managing competing priorities, levels and volumes of work. A key challenge is to review and improve admin processes to assist the Development Assessment Team deliver the outcomes within specific timeframes. There is a strong focus on meeting the needs of customers (both internal and external) to project and promote the image of Council as efficient, competent and courteous. Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
