SEVERE WEATHER THREAT ACROSS OHIO TODAY…. WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2PM Sunday to 6AM Monday... The Storm Prediction Center has issued a high risk area of severe weather potential (including >30% chance for tornadoes) across all of Indiana into far western Ohio. By the time the storms reach Athens this evening (after 7p), they should be more organized into a squall line, with damaging winds being the biggest threat for our area. Although warm, the winds will be increasing today, as winds just one mile above us will be racing at nearly 70mph. Stay tuned to National Weather Service / Storm Prediction Center watches and warnings today as severe weather develops, and heed any warnings issued!
