The time has been changed for this week. It will be a short call starting at 8:30pm CST/9:30pm EST. The call will last under 30 minutes. I want to review what REALLY happened during the House session on Thursday. And what is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. WE MUST have people in the hearing rooms and hallways on Tuesday and Wednesday. The House hearing starts at 8am CST on Tuesday in Room #30. Rep. Womicks bill are the first to be heard. Gee do ya think they scheduled these bills so early so no one would or could show up?? We need to show them we will not be discouraged from attending no matter what they do. You can watch from home if there is no way you can be in attendance. But we need moms and their kids looking them square in the face when they get ready to vote on these bills. If you are a parent with a story to tell about Common Core (especially the math) and how it has affected your child, parents that cannot help etc. and you plan on attending AND would be willing to share your story with the committee let me know. If you pulled your child(ren) out of public school because of CC and are now homeschooling your child.......and you are planning to attend on Tuesday AND you would be willing to share your story with the Committee.....let me know.
