SHOES + CREATIVITY = SUPPORT FOR ARTS EDUCATION vans/customculture Through a grant program and the Custom Culture competition, VANS and Americans for the Arts want to inspire high school students to embrace their creativity. Ten schools across the country were selected to each receive a $2,000 grant to support their work in providing high-quality music and/or visual arts instruction for students, as demonstrated through their competitive application. Additionally, registration is still open for the 2014 Custom Culture shoe design competition. Schools from all over the United States compete for a chance to win money for their art programs. The first 2,000 schools to register will receive four pairs of blank Vans sneakers to be customized by their students. Want to win $50,000 for your high schools art program?
