SHOULD I SAY: HAPPY EASTER OR, HAPPY FIRST-QUARTER HOLIDAY... I still havent deciphered why yesterday was called Good Friday as if last week Friday was a bad Friday, and tomorrow is tagged: Easter Sunday, I laugh. Funnily, I hear tomorrow marks the resurrection of my LORD, SAVIOUR and MASTER, JESUS CHRIST. Many claim tomorrow is Easter Sunday without any Biblical proof just like they coined December 25th as JESUSs Birthday even without HIS approval. Now, theyre celebrating HIS Death, Burial and Resurrection that the early Christians and Apostles who were with HIM did not even celebrate. I have found out that, when people want holiday away from Work and School, they put up funny reasons like: Bank Holiday, Boxing Day, Christmass Day, and all the Eids, RAMADANS et al. I am also dazed again when people keep posting funny pictures of a White man carrying cross with blood gushing out of his body due to injury hed sustained from an irate mob. Hahahahahaha, I even saw my Governor carry cross. At least, my Governor is black not white., lol. It worries me when I walk into some homes and find that same white-mans picture indicating he is my JESUS CHRIST, Haba my people. Abeg, na where una get that picture from? Na who tell una say na JESUS CHRIST be that na? Na which artist bin dey that time of CHRIST to draw him portrait? Na who tell you say JESUS CHRIST get bear-bear for him face? In fact, what makes you guys believe I am not the JESUS Christ you seek? Must He be a white-man and must the devil always be a black man or vice versa? Funny people with funny celebrations. Anyways, since last weeks Friday was a bad Friday to you guys (certainly not to me and family) lol, I hope Ill see my people up and about again on Easter Tuesday since next week Monday is also called Easter Monday? I think it is best to remain silent where the Bible is silent, than spilling out the garbage you call scripture. I guess some things are secrets to GOD Almighty, so why try to pry into GODs privacy? HE did not categorically state the day JESUS CHRIST was born and the day HE died. All we were told is: JESUS CHRIST spent 33years on earth and HE was crucified so that you and I may be saved. HE performed the last sacrifice by giving HIMSELF to die on the cross of Calvary as atonement for our sins, the actual day and time was not made known to the present man ( that is, you and I). These things are one of GODs secrets, why worry about knowing the evolution of GOD and who HIS parents were for example. Remember, in the book of Deuteronomy 29:29 and I quote: The secret things belong unto the LORD our GOD: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and our Children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Please, stop making excuses for GOD. Shut up where the Bible is quiescence and speak up where the Bible empowers you to speak. It appears to me some of us still worships the unknown god not the true and only GOD. Come to think of it, do we still ignorantly worship the Unknown GOD as we can see in Acts 17:21-24 in Athens? Well, know that the times of ignorant GOD overlooked, but now HE hath commandeth every man everywhere to repent (Acts 17:39). Dont claim ignorant of this, search the scriptures and stop being superstitious with everything you see or hear. If you like, let me say; Happy first-quarter holiday celebrations.
