SICK LITTLE BOY NEEDS OUT NOW!!!!Poor USHER (ID# 0968845) was SO EXCITED for the big adoption event at Manhattan Animal Care and Control today. He thought this would certainly be the day he would meet the right family that would love him forever. But, instead, this little guy has come down with Kennel Cough and is spending his day in the sick ward with no contact with the public. As you can see from the photo below, he is sitting in his little isolation unit with only a tennis ball for company. What heartbreak for him. PLEASE share USHER and consider FOSTERING or ADOPTING this guy who is now even more in need of our help and our love. Thank you! So, later in the day Usher and I met, and he was well worth waiting for. What a delight this boy is! Usher demonstrates lovely leash manners, walking nicely by my side. "Going" as soon as we were out the door indicates he is likely housetrained. He smiles that famous pittie smile and his eyes sparkle with warmth and intelligence. Wagging his tail at everyone we meet, both two legged and four legged, Usher shows good manners in his approach. He takes treats gently, posed for his photo session like a supermodel, and is simply an easy, quietly affectionate, lovely dog to spend time with.
