SIDS and Kids is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of children and babies across Australia and New Zealand. We support any organisations which share these objectives. SIDS and Kids is committed to working with SIDS and Kids New Zealand to provide vital education and support to families affected by the unexpected death of a baby or child. SIDS, fatal sleeping accidents, stillbirth and accidental deaths remain the most common categories of sudden and unexpected deaths of babies and children. Each year more than 691 families experience the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child. Supporting families affected by the unexpected death of a baby or child and creating awareness in the community is SIDS and Kids priority.
