Oriel, District 301-A1, Sight Conservation, Work for the Blind & Sight for Kids, 2009-2011, Lion President 2009-2010 & 2011-2012 Candy G. Pua, District coordinator Sight for Kids, 2009-2010 & 2010-2011jointly with other Lions Clubs of District 301-A1, Manila, Philippines have; In 2009-2010 under the leadership of District Governor John L. Tan, Screened 57,579 student of 25 Manila Public Elementary Schools and Refracted 3,341 and distributed 1,278 prescription eyeglasses, 55 Senior citizen screened for cataract and 38 patient undergone cataract operation by Dr. Frederick Battad. In 2009-2010, 14 clubs actively joined Manila Host Lions Club in the Sight For Kids Projects, they are the following; Manila Achievers, Manila Century, Manila Friendship, Manila Centennial, Manila Traders, Manila Movers, Manila Absolute, Manila G M A, Manila West Tondo, Manila Infinity, Manila Gateway, Manila Prestige, Manila Gagalangin & Manila Ace, In 2010-2011, Under the leadership of District Governor Jimmy T. Tiu, Screened 20,811 Screened 20,814 student of 8 Manila Public Elementary Schools and Refracted 1,908 and distributed 710 prescription eyeglasses thru LCIF in partnership with Johnson & Johnsons’ Vision Care project for Elementary Schools student, 31 Senior citizen screened for cataract and 22 patient undergone cataract operation by Lion Dr. Frederick Battad . 12 clubs actively joined Manila Host Lions Club in the Sight For Kids Projects as follows, Manila Achievers, Manila Century, Manila Friendship, Manila Centennial, Manila Traders, Manila Movers, Manila Absolute, Manila G M A, Manila West Tondo, Manila Gagalangin, Manila Ace and Manila Quiapo. “I believe that when our clubs come together to perform service, we can expand our reach.” Said LCI Past President Will-kun Tam
