SILAMOL Three Different forms of Silicon are available but all cannot be utilized by plant, only water soluble is of use. 1. SALT FORM:-The solubility in this form is very limited. The Silicon salt is not or hardly assimilated by plant. 2. AMORPHOUS FORM: - This form, where solubility is poor. It is in this form silica is accumulated in the plant but utilized. 3. SOLUABLE FORM: - Silicic Acid. It is under this form that silicon is assimilated by the plant and utilized. This is most important for Agriculture as: 100% Bio Available for plant. 1000 time more active than Silica fertilizers. Applicable by leaves or root system. Extensively tested Compatible with other fertilizers or other agro chemicals Bio Available Silicon. Silicon is present in plants is almost equivalent to macronutrient elements like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Plant takes up silicon as silicic acid, the bio available form of silicon, which is transported to the shoot and surface of leaves and stems. Silamol is a unique formulation of stabilized, highly concentrated silicic acid. Plants are always exposed to various stresses during growth and the benefits of silamol become obvious under conditions of biotic & abiotic stress caused by climatic conditions, water deficiency or supply of minerals. Silmol plays a multitude of roles in plant life and crop performance RESISTANCE TO FUNGAL AND NEMATODE ATTACK Silamol helps the plant to improve its defense system against fungal attacks and nematodes. Deposits of silicon crystals act as a mechanical barrier in the root system and prevent physical penetration of roots by nematodes. Deposits of silicon crystals on the epidermal cell structures make the plants less susceptible to enzymatic degradation by fungal pathogens. RESISTANCE TO INSECT ATTACKS. Silamol crystallized on the out side of the epidermal structures of the leaf. These silicon crystals prevent physical penetration of leaves by insects. RESISTANCE TO SALINITY STRESS Silamol can reduce the uptake of sodium up to 50% due to decreased transpiration. With the help of silamol better yield can be achieved in saline condition. In salt condition silamol improves significantly the germination and growth responses. RESSTANCE TO WATER STRESS Silamol reduce the transpiration of the plants and optimizes water management. In drought condition silamol also improves significantly the yield. IMPROVEMENT OF ROOT AND CAPILAR SYSTEM Silamol ensure a perfect development of root system and opens the main fibbers roots (root hairs) in all parts of the plant. The transport of nutrients and oxygen is improved and optimized. Through this mechanism, plants have the capacity even in too wet or too dry soil to breath easier. OPTIMIZATION OF THE FERTILIZATION PROGRAM Silamol has a very important role as a regulator. The uptake of minerals is optimized. In case of a mineral deficiency the uptake is increased, in case of mineral excess the uptake is reduced. Silamol is able to optimize the fertilizer program per crop. This result in juicier, firmer fruits with higher sugar levels, higher calcium content and longer self life. In other crops higher uptake of nitrogen and phosphorus were observe Resulting in higher protein contents and improved quality. Silamol also improves the regularity of the yield, the yield is more homogeneous and commercial size is significantly improved. Silamol reduces loss of moisture after harvest and extends self life. IMMBILIZATION OF TOXIC HEAVY METALS Silamol can immobilize toxic metals as aluminum. Aluminum is toxic element that excess can cause chronicle disease. Today more and more residues of aluminum are detected in food. Silicon is only element that can immobilize aluminum. A new generation of nutrition and protection based on bio available silicon. Thanks to this development, silicon is re-discovered element in plant nutrition Dose Rate of application : 100 ml /ac- 4oo ml/ac . Silamol can be applied as foliar spray, root system or soil application Silamol is absorbed in very short time. Silamol improves the natural resistance to biotic stress. Silamol improves and optimizes the mineral transport. Silamol can be mixed with regular fertilizers and other agrochemical. Silamol has extensively been tested in international field trials. Silamol is applicable on crops such as Grape, Tomato, Fruits,Vegetable. Storage life of product is more than 2 years. FUNCTIONS OF SILICA: 1. Influence on Physiology 2. Influence on metabolisms 3. Mechanical functions Silica has influence on assimilation and transportation of minerals, Mainly Phosphorus, Potash, Nitrogen, Magnesium and calcium. Silicon increase cell wall thickness and create a mechanical barrier against pest. Silicon is mainly present in Tricomonas and hairs both are protective layers, to some extend it is present in epidermal cell of leaf. Silicon provides resistance to root system, helps root for better up take of nutrients. In stem Silicon provides support and helps in transporting nutrient. Silicon improves leaf resistance and leaf erectness and light interception. Silicon improves fruit resistance, firmness and juiciness. Seed germination and resistance. Silica improves root growth and its thickness. Silica optimize water management. Silica increase resistance of crop against abiotic as well as biotic factors. Silica improve productivity and quality of crop. Silica reduce translocation of Na (Sodium by 50%). Silica increase translocation of phosphorus. Silica helps plant and improves salt tolerance. Acumination of silica in leaf cuticle hairs and epidermis create a barrier for fungi/bacteria and insect. Silica reduce transpiration rate and in help in water management. Silicic acid stabilized formulation is silimon. Application through root or leaf. Can be mixed with fertilizers and pesticides.
