SILENT BUT DEADLY: CHERNOBYL-FUKUSHIMA-SAN ONOFRE The Silent - TopicsExpress

SILENT BUT DEADLY: CHERNOBYL-FUKUSHIMA-SAN ONOFRE The Silent But Deadly exhibition is installed and delivering its powerful messages. The next important event is on Tuesday, March 11, with the American debut of Japanese photojournalist Jun Horis documentary Metamorphosis. The film will be enhanced with two timely trailers on the topic, and followed by a panel discussion with several notable speakers listed below. The issues presented in this timely exhibition cannot be ignored and continue to threaten our good Spaceship Earth. Other aging Fukushima-San Onofre era nuclear reactors remain on line in the US, Japan, and across the world. The decontamination and radwaste disposal of San Onofre alone will take decades of work and community vigilance. We are at a time when citizen participation in the policy and politics of energy is crucial. We hope you can join us in the discussion ... and share with others. The film night is free to the public, but donations will be gratefully accepted to further the distribution of the film and support the exhibition. Seating is limited, so early arrival is encouraged. bcspace/
