Since he decleared his intentions to gun for the number one position in the state, Sir Tony Obuh has come under intense scrutiny. They took a look into their personal cupboards, their ways and their conducts while in service in various positions they have head and still holding, Oh my God, they saw how they siphoned and embezzled project funds, how they misappropriateted capital votes under the ministries and parastatals they supervised, how they mismanaged the constituency allowances meant for projects in their constituencies and how they breed, encourage and sponsor criminal gangs in their dormain. They concluded that Tony Obuh must have done something similar to theirs. So to stop his governorship aspirations, his crimes must be unravelled - dug out.They vowed to dig out his sins They voted some huge amount of money to hire some secrect agents, secret investigators and some Jounalists to carry out secret seach into Sir Tony Obuhs past and recent years in Service. With enough cash in hand, the secret agents set out for their task, they assured their paymasters that they will definately come out with some sins big enough to achieve their devilish purposes of stoping his governorship aspirations. The hired secret agents first went to Mary Mount College B. B. Owa, where he taught in his early years, they checked records to see whether there was any misdemeanor recorded against him, they found nothing. They went to PermHouse in Benin city where he was recruited into the Civil Services, they checked all the files in all the offices where he served, they found nothing, no query no caution. They went to Bendel Insurance Co. Ltd, where he served as Chairman, they found nothing. They came down to Delta State and began to trace his postings. They went to Delta Line Transport Service Co Ltd where he served as Chairman, they found nothing. They went to check files at PAMOL where he served as a director, they found nothing. They went to SSGs Office where he served for quite a reasonable numbers of years, they rumaged all the files, they found nothing. No query, no caution. They went to the Governors office where he head for good 8 years as a Permanent Secretary (Protocol) before he retired, they met unblemished records. They were perplexed, how can there be a man like this? They ask themselves. Not through yet, they went to his community, his Local Government Area and made enquiry about the nefarious gangs in the area and did a thorough investigations to check whether he had a link to any of them either as a breeder, encourager, sponsorer or as a Godfather, they found none, he has no links to any. They were amazed and frustrated, frustrated because they could not lay hands on any incriminating thing against him to present to their paymasters to justify the huge amounts of money they were given for the job. Their investigations revealed and confirmed that SIR TONY OBUH is clean and spotless.
