SIZZLER IN BARSTOW ( = ( my unhappy lunch) If in Barstow and looking for a place to eat I would suggest driving right past their Sizzler. Beth and I had to go there yesterday and stopped to get lunch. I have NEVER been in a restaurant as dirty as it was. If I had not paid before I walked into the dining area I would have walked out. Second thought after was that I should have demanded my money back and gone some where else. I used to run a B&B and I also worked for Certified Reports, this place should have been red tagged. Not only was it filthy but had torn carpets that in a few areas where patched with electrical tape, water damaged ceiling tiles that might fall and the seats.It wasnt just one booth it was most if not all of them that had filthy fabric that look like it had old food, dirt and god only knows what else smeared all over it.When we entered there where over a dozen tables that needed bussed, they where still sitting when we left. How do would rated this place if I still worked for Certified? Well, lets just end this by saying I got sick and had to leave when I noticed the full extent of filth and neglect. If this is what the public saw I can only think of what the kitchen was like. If I where sizzler I would not want my name attached to this place. Yes, I did file a report!
