SLAM DUNK Freely I give to you my all, Yet you pick me up then slam me down, Just like a rubber ball... I try to bounce right back to you, Then you slam me against the wall, Are you trying to make me fall?.. You shoot me high into the sky, Will you catch me when I fall?, I know you wont even try... You shoot me through hoops, Or just throw me away, Then come back to play with me another day... Sometimes you make me feel like Im alive, Those times are short lived, But they still make me feel cool... And so again I become the rubber ball, So you can slam dunk me, Off the floors and walls... Up against the wall or strait down to the floor, Cant you see that to me, It just dont matter anymore... Are you trying to make me feel your shame and your pain? Gladly I would receve all of your shame, As well as endure all of your pain... If it by measure were stricken from you, That slam dunk I would gladly, Take with pride for you... Martin Lee Teel
