SM TOWN Week to kick off Global Tour in Manila on June 2014. (SEOUL, Korea) SM Entertainment, Ltd, one of South Koreas largest entertainment agencies, is once again embarking on a large-scale global tour this year. SM Entertainment manages popular acts such as Girls Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior, Shinee, EXO and f(x). The first leg of the concert will be in Manila, Philippines. After the success of Super Show 5 last October 2013 held in Mall of Asia Arena, a representative from SM Entertainment said that they are looking forward in investing more in the Philippines. The representative further stated that the fans in the country will be greeted with more concerts and shows beginning this year. The company is also planning to open up pop-up stores in the future. During the press conference held in Seoul last March 30, 2014, Tiffany from Girls Generation said We are happy to visit the Philippines once again because we havent had a solo concert there yet. Kris from the boy group EXO also mentioned that Filipinos are one of their most loyal fans. EXO is in the midst of their comeback preparation. SMTOWN Week Global Tour is scheduled to visit various Asian and European countries this year, and will follow up with North American tour beginning in February 2015. (c) popsegye V. Adrian - PLEASE!
