This Sheffield based business has experience in all aspects of cable assembly and cable looms including solder (leaded/lead free), IDC and crimp for all terminations and housings. With a diverse client base in a number of sectors they have big plans to expand following some significant contract wins. The company supply installers with specified pre cut wiring supplies. The company distribute these products to a wide range of contractors, end users and installers around the world. Roles involved: Working in a small team, the successful candidate will be working on the assembly of a range of electronic inclinometers. This role requires someone who is very practical, and can work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines. The role will involve simple machine handling following PC based prompts as well as highly focused attention to detail using manual skills including strong eye /hand coordination. Key duties will include; Cutting, stripping, crimping, block loading and marking of cables of all types - manually and with Schleuniger cabling machines after training. - Creating packets of wiring products for installers around the world - Cable preparation (receiving the wholesale product, storing and preparing for distribution to customers. - Sorting, grading and counting the products, bundling into units for despatch.
