SNAKE UPDATE: Harvey is back home from hospital. Surgery went well, I dont know every detail but he is seeing the surgeon in his office this afternoon and we will know more after that. As I mentioned previously, originally both the Micro Vascular surgeon and his regular surgeon were going to perform the rib graft and forehead flap yesterday. They put that on hold temporarily. His regular surgeon wanted to re-biopsy the entire area again. They both worked on him. Performed the biopsies, inserted some donated cartilage, did something to the swollen area where the big vain was placed in. They adjusted his nostrils and tip of the nose and it looks so much better, like the real Harvey, amazing. There is an open hole again, but now Harvey is feeling more relief as it enables him to breathe better thru his nose…previously he was breathing with tubes in his nose, they were both uncomfortable and keep slipping out throughout the day and night. The swelling around his eyes is better too. Were just waiting for the reports and will know the next steps after that. Please keep him in your prayers and Ill keep cooking the Magic Snake Soup.
