SNEAK PEAK - I get asked all the time about the book.. Id it satanic (.. Seriously??) but most of all people are curious. I get a LOT of people that tell me they have wicked dreams after reading The Unsaintly. The Anti-God is actually the nemesis in the next book. So heres a little peak. Shh dont tell anyone ;) (btw, this isnt the edited version so Im sorry if theres errors.. I grabbed this of my phone lol) The snow clung to Isabel’s face but she embraced the cold, sharp kiss of frost upon her lips which were dry and flakey like a piece of sun weathered parchment. Her tongue was so envious that before she knew it, it had snaked out like a serpent seeking rain and lapped at the drops of water as if it was wine from Heaven. In no time her bruised and battered fingertips clawed at the white mounds and fed them by the fistful into her mouth. What was once clean and white, untouched snow was now mingling with the dried blood on her hands and face until it dripped like a crimson backsplash to the horrific nightmare that she was awake to endure once again. Isabel stopped and began to weep. Her body humped over in a strange arc. All the abuse she had suffered took its toll on her figure. Once, she was beautiful and strong and now she was skeletal and broken. Through the glassy, wet corner of her eye she saw something – or someone – standing there. The entity was both horrific and alluring, with the body of a beast and a face that seemed to hold human traits. The beast stared at her unnervingly with eyes that glittered with starbursts against an abyss of black. Isabel was frozen with fear and awe. She had witnessed both Demonic and Angelic beings throughout her ordeal but none of them came close to the command of presence as the one before her at this moment. She had been face to face with Lucifer himself. He – in both human and true form – was exceptional in beauty and wickedness but this creature was the embodiment of darkness before her mind could ever fathom such a thing. The stillness was too much. “Who are you?” Isabel croaked, finding her voice. “Who.” The creature stated, moving her head. The beast spoke. Her voice made everything around them tremble even though she spoke plainly and in quiet, thick tones. Her hair was as fine as silk strands of web. Isabel’s chest rose and fell in quick succession like a hummingbird’s. “This is always the first question.” She said, taking a step forward. Isabel stepped back with clumsy, frost-bitten feet. Even though there was nothing around she spread her arms out as if to steady her balance. She’d suffered at the hands of God whom she loved and obeyed ardently, and she suffered at the hands of Lucifer who reveled in her every scream and with every tear she shed. She had no idea what was in store for her with the one speaking with her now. “Not why or how” each step the creature took brought her closer to Isabel. “S-stop..Stop!” Isabel tried to stutter out. The She-Beast paused and Isabel’s eyes fixated on the lower portion of her. She had the legs of a lamb with hooves made of obsidian. Thick, stocky hindquarters were covered in the same faun colored fur that hung in a mane around her point ears and chin. On her head were seven ram-like horns. The wind caught the wisps of hair around her eyes and lifted them, giving Isabel a closer look at the menacing gaze that bore into her very soul. With a quick lurch forward, the She-Beast hissed and narrowed her eyes at Isabel, smiling when the girl came out of her skin and made a leap to back away. “I am ..Agasaya, Anahita, Inanna, Eshara. I am Menhit, Nanaja, Sakhmet.” She hissed each name with a venom-laced growl then paused before her voice called out, “I am …Heresy! The Anti-God!”
