SOCIALISTIC DEMOCRATIC PARTY Press Note/ 25 June 2013 Central Government should address to the problems of PAK Refugees: SDP Socialistic Democratic Party today raised its voice for the migrants from across the border. Addressing a Press Conference at Jammu today, SDP General Secretary Ajay Kumar and SDP Provincial President Deepu Ranotra spoke loudly in favour of the demands of these migrants who are living a pathetic condition in Jammu areas where they have been spending a much ignored life. “These migrants of 1947, 1965 and 1971 have been left to God’s mercy by the state and central governments. For no sin of theirs these migrants who were forced to leave their homes across the border are suffering here as the governments do not show any indication of accepting them as the citizens of India,” said SDP leaders. They said that these migrants are dined governments jobs and other due facilities needed for a safe and secure life. SDP leaders appealed to the state and the central governments to shun the biased approaches and devise programmes and schemes for allotment of equal citizenship in respect of these displaced people and extend all facilities provided to Indian nationals so that we are not labeled as insensitive and inhuman nation by the humanity. SDP Provincial President Deepu Ranotra said that SDP will soon send memorandums to the central government and the parliamentarians of main opposition parties in this regard to mobalize national opinion for pressurizing the government to take a decision in this regard. SDP Leaders Gursagar Singh, J.L. Chopra, Vishal Chowdhary, Balwinder Charak, Subash Bawa, Shashi Pal were also present. Representatives of Pak- Migrants Master Jeet Singh, Bacchan Lal, Harjot Singh, Major Ram,Dilip Singh, Krishen Lal, Lal Chand and Amarjit Singh were present in the Press Conference.
