SOME OF HON.[BARR.] FATIMAT RAJI-RASAKI PAST ACHIEVEMENTS AND READY TO DO MORE 1. Distribution of books to schools in Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area, October, 2007 under her Educational Enhancement programme. 2. Distribution of farming implements like hoes,cutlasses,fertiliser etc to farmers in the constituency to encourage Agriculture which is the main stay of the state and consequently to encourage adequate food production in the constituency in particular and the state in general. 3. Monthly stipends to the aged,orphans and widows in all the wards in the constituency since her inauguration in June 2007. 4. Monthly stipends to the party in the Constituency since July, 2009. 5. Recruitment of 10 persons from the Constituency into the Nigerian Police in May,2008. 6. When she marked her first anniversary in office, she launched her Economics Empowerment Programme during which materials worth over Fifty million Naira were distributed to the people of the Constituency. The materials includes the following (a) Forty(40) Generating sets of different sizes (b) 10 Motorcycles (c) 100 sets of spraying machines for farmers (d) 100 sets of Bricklayer tools (e) 80 Barking kits (f) 30 Hair dryers for hair dressers (g) 40 Giant coolers particularly for the aged women (h) 70 telephone sets and all accessories for call businesses (I) Block making machines and accessories for the youths in the Constituency (j) Ice block making machines and accessories for women in the Constituency (k) Grants to different categories of people to improve and stabilize their businesses. 7. Donation of a 20 seater bus to Market men and Women Association of Ekiti State, November, 2008. 8. Donation of a car to her campaign Manager Mr. Egunlae Mighty Joe, November, 2008. 9. Donation of a 20 seater bus to Nigeria Union of Journalist Ekiti state Chapter April 2009. 10. Facilitating Micro Credit Loans to about 149 beneficiaries April, 2009 11. Facilitating the training of about 114 people from the Constituency under the National Directorate of Employment scheme October, 2009 and another 60 people in the year 2010 in different human endeavours such as: ICT, Auto-Card, Catering, Event Management, Comedy, Hair Dressing, Tailoring and Cosmetics. 12. Ensuing the installation and completion of many Constituency projects. 13. Distribution of books to schools in the Central Senatorial Zone comprising Ado, Irepodun/ Ifelodun, Ekiti West, Ijero and Efon Local Government Areas February, 2010. 14. Award of Busary/Financial assistance to indigenes but otherwise very brilliant students from the Constituency. 15. Payment of school fees of numerous students from the Constituency. 16. Assisting in the Recruitment of 20 indigenes of the Constituency into the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps during the 2009 recruitment excercise. ABOVE ALL. 17. The primary assignment to represent her Constituency at the lower Chamber of the National Assembly as a Legislator has been discharged most creditably by her prompt and impressive attendance of the sittings of the House and her wonderful contributions during the plenary sessions of the House and at committee levels. She is a distinguished member of several Committees of the House such as labour and productivity, police Affairs, Deputy Chairman Women Affairs, House service, Internal Security, Federal Capital Territory Committees among others.
