SOME REASONS TO BELIEVE IN CHRIST “For since by man came death, - TopicsExpress

SOME REASONS TO BELIEVE IN CHRIST “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:21- 22). I want to get this across to your knowing; and I pray that the LORD God will grant you insight, to enable you to embrace the reality in this message. I want to put before you some reasonable reasons I believe will reach your conviction, to enlighten you on the significance of a man believing in the Gospel of Christ, and its effects on the human soul, and the benefit for the human spirit. So that, you will not walk pass the river of living water, and end up in the city of dryness: where “…there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:50). Hearken unto me Oh ye with ears, for I will communicate to you wisdom, give me your attention, ye of understanding, and I will impart to you knowledge; even divine knowledge. Heed to my dark sayings, Oh ye simple, and be wise, for my words will instruct you in the way of life; wherein your soul shall dwell safely with your Maker. Turn not away from my counseling, neither refuse to consider; for the end thereof is life and peace. A reason is a why to do what; the cause or necessity for doing something. Before a man will do anything, there must be a reason to cause him to act, even in a way responding to the purpose of that reason. There is a reason to anything, and a particular reason provokes a particular action, that means, which reason you have, will determines which action you will take: and at the end of every reason, there is a consequence. For example, God commanded man to stay away from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but to enable man to conform to that instruction, He gave a reason to man; “…for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:17). That was the why man should enemy himself from the tree, and operatively, that reason kept man off the tree. But when the ancient liar sought for to steal, kill, and destroy man, he also gave a contrary reason why man can contradict the statement “…thou shalt surely die:” for he said, “…Ye shall not surely die…” and he provided a reason why man should believe him instead; “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then shall your eyes be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4, 5). This deceptive reason the serpent gave to the woman, caused [them] to deceive themselves, by disconnecting themselves from the glorious life God planned for them; to dwell in blessing, and in life: and they chose to dwell in curse, and in death. God positioned them in the way of life, and they were sustained by a reason God gave them: but they were caused to deviate to take the ways of death, because of a different reason given to them by the enemy. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). I want you to notice that, all men were made sinners in the sight of the Righteous God by virtue of the sin committed by the first man; “For…by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners…” (Romans 5:19). Thenceforth, sin became a nature that any man born of flesh and blood naturally inherit, thus, not when a man grew and did something wrong that made him a sinner, but to be a sinner begins from the womb: “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceived me” (Psalm 51:5); “…Thou wast altogether born in sins…” (John 9:34). “Therefore…by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation…” (Romans 5:18). That was to lay emphasis that, God concluded all men as sinners in Adam. Nevertheless, “…God commended His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Herein begins the reasons why a soul should accept Jesus; “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly” (Romans 5:6). All men according to the Creator sinned against Him in the first man, and as it is written that, “the soul that sinneth, the same dies,” even as “…the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23), so “…as sin…reigned unto death…” (Romans 5:21) in all men, because, “…in Adam all die…” (1 Corinthians 15:22). So, all men died because the first man invoked death upon himself, and transmitted death to all men through birth. So my dear, hear me, and hear me for good: this is not a story; but a life, and whosoever embraces this doeth good service to his soul. Jesus is not like any other person that just lived and died: but He is the solution provided of God, the Living Supreme, who created the Universe, and you: unto all men who were accounted as unworthy of life; and were placed under death, even as the consequences of one man’s disobedience. For God so loved the world, that He did not want all men to perish as a results of one man’s offence, and so gave His only begotten Son, to take the place of all men, for He was delivered as the Lamb of God, to take away the sin of the world (John 1:29), “…in that He died, He died unto sin…” (Romans 6:10); “For He…made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin…” (2 Corinthians 5:21), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish because of sin: but should have eternal life, through His righteousness. “So Christ was once delivered to bear the sins of many…” (Hebrews 9:28), “That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish…” (John 3:15), “…because Christ…suffered for us… Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth… Who His self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls” (1 Peter 2:21-25). Convincingly, the reality of the bible is to bear record; “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:11-12). With the reasons which the bible provides, you can realize how vital it is for you as a soul, even as an individual to believe in Jesus. For “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36). I am given you these reasons, “…that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have eternal life through His Name” (John 20:31), and “These things have I written unto you that believe on the Name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the Name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13). Be persuaded O ye precious soul, for why will ye repudiate the Gospel of Christ, and turn deaf ears to a message of salvation: is this not for your soul, and the rebirth of your spirit? Surely, you might have so many objectives that you’re pursuing with your days in this temporal life: but pause a little, and answer the Preacher, “What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?” (Ecclesiastes 1:3), so what? So, “…seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). “For what is a man profiteth, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in an exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26), yet, men are chasing after many things in this life at their breath, but, none of these things take a man anywhere. However, if you have believed in Jesus, then, God hath given you all things freely to enjoy, for if you have already received the Gospel of Christ; and you are living in it, then, all things work together for your good. But if you haven’t believed in the salvation of Christ, then, you are doing yourself a great disservice: you may not realize it today, for all things may appear normal to you now: but most assuredly, you will regret tomorrow, if you insist on, till you die. You are living in this world for a period of time: to leave this world forever, which consciousness do you walk in; the consciousness of this corruptible life, or the consciousness of where you shall be after this life? You might want to ask, why must you walk in the consciousness of where you shall be after this life, whiles you are yet in this life? Is because, “…ye know not what shall be on the morrow…” (James 4:14). And your consciousness also determines your investment; so whether you will invest into eternity, or into corruption, is preconditioned on your consciousness. Because, if you gain insight into the realities of this life, like the Preacher, who declared that, “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit” (Ecclesiastes 1:14): you will set yourself up to walk in the light of the Master’s words; “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21). That means, where your investment is directed to, is where your hope is; and where your hope is, is where your heart dwells. Never think that, you are ok; and do not need Christ, for all that you think you have that makes you who you are, will fail you in a second, and then you shall know, that you were but a creature, when you stand before the Lord. Heaven and earth, including the world and all therein shall pass away: except the Word, which I’m given you some reasons to believe in, but if you refuse Him, now that you have a choice, what can you do, when you have no choice again. It pays to believe in Him, for He alone gives life eternal to whosoever believes in Him. Finally, why you must not refuse Him, is because, anything that you might believe in, in this life offers you a temporal benefits, such as, power, money, fame, fitness, marriage, business, and many other little things which are all necessary in this life: but you know in yourself that you will not grow wings in this life, yet, there is nothing in this life that you will believe in, that can promise you life: except Jesus, who gives eternal life to any soul that believe on His Name. With these reasons, “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil… I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death…therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice, and that thou mayest cleave to Him: for He is your life, and the length of thy days…” (Deuteronomy 30:15, 19-20). If you want to make Jesus your Lord and Savoiur, kindly pray this prayer: “O LORD GOD, I COME TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, YOUR WORD SAYS, “…WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED” I ASK JESUS TO COME INTO MY HEART TO BE THE LORD OF MY LIFE. I RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE INTO MY SPIRIT, I DECLARE I AM SAVED; I AM BORN AGAIN; I AM A CHILD OF GOD; I NOW HAVE CHRIST DWELLING IN ME, AND GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD! I NOW WALK IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF MY NEW LIFE. HALLELUJAH!”
