SOMETHING HAPPENED THIS WEEK THAT DISTURBED ME ALL THE WAY DOWN TO MY SOUL. As a result, Ive actually under the weather for the first time in ages and have been dealing with it all week. My son has been fixing me some hot totties (laced with a heavy hand of bourbon--go J.L.), taking Father Johns Cough remedy (Yes, I went old school (and was even trying to find some goose grease!). But I realize the true reason for my not feeling well is more mental/metaphysical. Ive just learned another hard lesson: I should be more mindful of who/what Im giving my energy to.
