SOMETHING I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO DO FOR A LONG TIME NOW. Below you will find a short video clip of Bhakta Tom, who is a real and very humble devotee, as well as one of my best friends. Every Saturday Night for well over two years now, he has performed a most important service for Srila Prabhupada and Lord Chaitanya. That is .... He pulls a little trolley along behind the Harinama Party. In this trolley you will find about 2,000 copies of On Chanting Hare Krsna. Believe me, it is very heavy and awkward to pull up and down steep kerbs and even has to be carried down into the Piccadilly Underground Station Because of his humble service we have now distributed FREELY around a quarter of a million (250,000), 16 Page Full Colour booklets in the 27 months since we started. (Paid for and supplied by Sriman Palaka prabhu acbsp from Washington DC) I first met Bhakta Tom when he visited our Gokula Veg Cafe 4 years ago. He bought a coffee and sat outside and had a cigarette. Somehow I felt he was a devotee so I went outside to talk with him. Within a few minutes I had invited him to help us run the Cafe. He jumped at the chance and gee has been with us constantly ever since. He is now smoke and coffee free :) following the 4 regs and chanting 16 rounds a day. He attends 2 study groups a week. One at Sri Kamas and Kishors home, and one at Ramyas and mine. He is humility and tolerance personified and I love him like a son.
