SPIRIT LIFE DEVOTIONAL. BY: NII ARYEE OKINE. DATE: 7TH JANUARY 2015. Main Theme For The Month of January : ALLOWING GOD TO LEAD IN ALL ASPECTS OF OUR LIVES. Sub Theme For Today: OVER COME FEAR WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOVE OF GOD. Scripture Reading: 1 John 4:7-21. Scripture Reference: v.17, In this way, Love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. v.18, There is no fear in Love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in Love. (1 John 4:17-18). We are only permitted to habour fear in us if We do not know who we have put our hopes and trust in. The fact that there is fear on the lips on soo many people in the world, does not guarantee us as AMBASSADORS OF THE KINGDOM MANDATE, to also fear. Thus we ought not to fear. The Death and Resurrection of Christ signified not only our Redemption, but also our dominion over ever other earthly strife including FEAR. That is why Bible says that for Christ was given a name that is above every other name, that at the mention of Jesus every knee bow in reverence to His name including fear. Habouring fear in you is not a trait of a Redeemed person. Bible also affirms this, For I have not given you the spirit of fear, again to fear, but of Love and of a sound mind. Fear is overcome by Knowledge of God. Gods love, prevents us from feeling insecure. Whenever we fear me doubt the Power of God at work in us. God knows the end from the beginning, He holds the keys to the future and now. He holds our Lives in His hands, if God be for us, who can be against us. No one else can that is the power at work in us. Walk in the mindset of a victor, habour no fear in you, for God is ahead of You in everything. AMEN. Prayer: Sovereign King Thank You for the Perfect Love demonstrated on the Cross of Calvary, which gives me Power over anything that is not of you. Father I live and walk in Boldness for you are my shield. I am tooo bold to Fear. Thank You Jesus. AMEN. STAY COURAGEOUS !!! ..... STAY BLESSED !!!.AMEN.
