SPOTTED: firefighters from across the state are completing training in technical rescue, in both urban and rural environments this month. Over three weeks the 18 permanent firefighters completed technical training at #QCESA Whyte Island training facility and from the rooftop of Casino Towers as well as wilderness training at Binna Burra Lodge. On completion, successful candidates will become level 2 technicians and can move onto complete further training in swift water rescue, confined space rescue, trench rescue and Urban Search and Rescue. #everydayheroes #QFES #verticalrescue
