SSGM Digital Technologies Research Fellow Position Description: Through this appointment SSGM seeks to expand and deepen our engagement with social media and new technologies, and to build a program of research that investigates the uptake and utilisation of digital technologies in Melanesia and the broader Pacific, and how these might enhance political participation and development outcomes. The SSGM Digital Technologies Research Fellow will report to the SSGM Convenor although will work closely with and provide authoritative advice to Program Manager (Research Communication and Training) and to the SSGM Outreach and Teaching Committees. The role will involve international travel to the region and may involve working outside normal working hours.
