STAFFS COUNTY SENIOR LEAGUE REPORT WEEK 1 Premier Jacob Hughes opened for Abbey Hulton at home to Cheadle Town on 21min. Shaun Rhodes added a second on 53 min before Jake Alcock pulled a goal back for the visitors. Rhodes added his second on 70min & completed his hat trick ten minutes later. Ball Haye Green opened at home to Eccleshall through Eddy Ellis, Pete Williams equalised from the spot before the break. Mike Keates added a second for Green after the break and a third from Mitch Cartiledge sealed the points. Joe Wooliscroft scored twice for Florence with a single coming from Tom Brown at home to Norton who replied with two from John Hughes along with singles from Kieron Ball, Dan Steel & Dom Thorley. Kieron Wain opened for visitors Leek at Hilton in the first half. Jordan Mason equalised after the break and Carl Chadfield added a second for Hilton to take the points. Jon Birks scored the only goal of the game on 25min from the spot for Kidsgrove at home to Audley. Uttoxeter opened at home to Redgate from the spot through Jack Holly, Wayne Glover equalised before the break. Tommy Smith put Uttoxeter ahead after the break before James Gartside equalised on the hour to share the points. Wolstanton scored six at home to Hanley; a hat trick from Mark Grice along with a goal apiece from Rob Edwards, Liam Shaw & Ashley Moran, with a n Alex Wright goal in reply for the visitors. Division 1 Edwards opened for Hall Heath against Abbey Hulton in the first half, Vassel added a further two and a single came from Sedgwick before D Weston pulled a goal back for Abbey Hulton. Visitors Congleton opened on 20min through James Dodd at Bradwell Tom Lloyd equalised and Tim Bowyer added a second but missed a shot from the spot before the break, adding his second in the second half along with a single from Matt Riddell to see Bradwell take the points. Foley and Milton shared the points from a goal less draw. Visitors Ashbourne scored three without reply at Sandbach; one each from Paul Spencer, Charles Mann & Callum Woolley. Jamie Disney opened for Stapenhill at home to Cheadle SMU in the first half. Charlie Rumin added a second after the break with a third coming through Jordan Stevens before Disney made it four nil with his second. Silverdale opened at home to Norton through Alan Ridley, Josh Moran equalised before Paul Lovatt added a second for Silverdale. Alex Robson signed off from the spot in the second half to see Silverdale take the points. Division 2 LA Holditch scored four at home to Tunstall Town; one apiece for Marvin Johnson, Ryan Bridgewater, Shane Hurst & Simon Worthington, without reply. Matthew Cockfield scored a hat trick for Longton along with a single from Dean Johnson and an OG without reply from visitors Cheadle Town. Thomas Harvey scored four for Uttoxeter against Featherstone with three in reply; one each from Daniel Breakwell, Jamie Byrne & Toyan Vassel.
