START IT UP RIGHT IN YOUR BATHROOM I went for catering training to learn cake making and some pastries. I tried to get few instruments to help me in practising all I was taught. I started doing my practicals right in my mums house, I would use my money to buy all the ingredients I needed but the funny aspect of it is that all my neighbours would only be glad to eat of my product without giving me a kobo yet my joy was that I was building myself through all the practicals I devised a means of getting money for my practicals; I would tell them that I intend making a pastry and those who are interested in having a bite of it should contribute! Gbam! It worked! Some people would contribute while the stingy ones will only beg to eat thereof yet my joy was that I was learning to develop my skill Few Months later, a woman from the next neighbourhood came to me that I should help her make Puffballs (puff puff) of a large quantity like 2 big bowls to mark her babys dedication. I was glad in a way but scared because I have never done a work of that quantity. What if I messed up in my mixture? What if the work is not properly done! I was afraid! I concluded discussion with the woman and the bottom line was that she wanted me to render my service for free. Haba! No profit? For a challenging task! Ok o! So I agreed to help her...my profit is to build my skill I did the puffballs for this woman for free coupled with the frying not minding the pains the firewood caused my eyes. What did I gain? Experience! With that incident; I knew my ability! I discovered what I can do. I can make puff balls of a tanker for you just tell me but not for free anymore. Lolz Why am I sharing this? The Holy Spirit told me immediately I woke up this morning... What do you love to do? What is your vision? What is your dream? Do you have passion for singing? Writing books? Decent novels? Acting? What do you love to do with great joy and enthusiasm? Dont wait for the limelight before you start Start where you are today! A pastor said he tried preaching right in the bathroom everyday for a donkey year before he finally had the opportunity to mount the pulpit Start writing those books...dont worry those who will read are waiting for you. Start writing those songs...I will buy your CD soon Start pursuing your dream in every little way you can Act that drama in your church drama unit...Mike Bamiloye started right there Opportunities will come!
