STOCKTON IT Officer / IT Support Salary £23432 - £24837 Per Annum + BENEFITS Permanent Reporting to the ICT Applications and Infrastructure Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a customer focused ICT function which includes supporting the Group`s Application Systems and Network Infrastructure and telecommunications systems. Responsible for mobile technology for the organisation, you will be required to have a good range of ?rst and second line support skills and will be able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for ICT, as well as being able to communicate e?ectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing. JOB ROLE: * Support in the delivery of a comprehensive ICT Support Function, including support on all the Group`s Application Systems and Network Infrastructure; * Provision of second line support to the Groups ICT users; * To engage with all internal stakeholders as required to ensure continued provision of ICT Services to the Group; * Assist in the provision of a comprehensive range of professional ICT Services to the Group including, but not limited to:- a. Management Information b. Hardware Provision c. Software analysis d. Data integrity and quality e. Backup services f. Telephony Services * To undertake, as required, updates on the Group`s security systems with particular regard to applications, anti-virus software, hacking, web-security and email archiving; * To assist in ensuring that relevant ICT Training for staff is developed and undertaken; * To deliver training to staff on relevant systems as deemed appropriate from time to time; * To implement changes to the Group`s network infrastructure upon guidance from the Group ICT Applications & Infrastructure Co-Coordinator in such a way that ensures systems do not become unusable; * Work as part of a team in the delivery of new ICT software systems to the requirements of the organisation; * To manage the Group`s ICT Helpdesk in the absence of the Group ICT Apprentice; * To attend relevant briefings, seminars, conferences and meetings, that would assist with the carrying out of duties of the position; * Administer ICT policies and procedures, highlighting as necessary any breaches to the Group ICT Manager; * Ensure a comprehensive ICT Asset Inventory is kept, and reconciled on a quarterly basis; * Assist on ad-hoc projects to develop and implement more effective ICT solutions to the business as required. KEY ATTRIBUTES: * Educated to at least ?A` Level standard in an ICT related subject; * A good range of technical ICT skills; * Good knowledge of MS Office; * Knowledge of Management Information Principles; * Excellent communication skills; * Creative; * Excellent understanding of computer technology.
