There are a wide range of skills needed to be a successful Service Advisor. You will need to be able to manage a varied work load dictated by customers, deal with lots of information and be able to manage a number of different tasks at the same time. Above all, you will need to have impeccable people skills, a desire to provide exceptional customer service and have the ability to build relationships with a vast range of customers from all walks of life. Clear and concise communication skills are essential to delivering outstanding customer service. This unique apprenticeship programme will help you to grow your knowledge and develop a wide range of skills needed to be an effective Service Advisor. In addition to developing a wide range of interpersonal skills, you will learn how to take service bookings, advise on vehicle needs, arrange alternative transport, handle workshop loading, explain work that needs to be carried out, hand vehicles back to customers and take payments.
