STONE LANE CAR PARK AT WOODHOUSE: THE BAD NEWS: a height restriction barrier has been put in place across the entrance to this car park, preventing access to anything taller than cars. This has been done to discourage the fly-tipping that has been going on there. THE GOOD NEWS: keys are available to horse-box and trailer drivers who wish to park there. Its a great circular off-road bridleway, with a large circular loop and extensions to Richmond and Beighton, worth a visit and the car park is nice and big...but dont drive down Stone Lane without a key; its hard to turn a trailer round in the lane.
