STORY TIME WITH FANWARRIOR! WOO-HOO! okay, i dont think ive told you guys about my aunts blind cat. so im going to tell you now. so, my aunt has a beagle who loves cats, and she doesnt have any kids even though she is married. one day, she hears this loud pitiful meowing from outside. so like any normal human being, she goes outside to see whats going on. there, she sees this little black stray kitten wandering outside. shes an animal lover, and she felt sorry for it, so she goes closer to see it. and lo and behold, she was shocked to see that the tiny kitten had no eyes. i dont mean like, little newborns with their eyes shut, i mean a 6-week old kitten with empty eye sockets. im sorry to say, most people here would have run back inside and abandoned it, or even killed it, because they would think it a nuisance. im proud to say, thats not how my aunt rolls. like the sweet, God-sent human being she is, she picked up the little darling, and took her to the vet. the vet checked her up, and the kitten seemed underfed, but thats it. nothing else seemed to be wrong, except for the lack of eyes. the vet determined that the kitten had been born with eyes, but due to an infection, her eyes became so ravaged, they had to be removed. this means that the kitten had an owner, but the owner must have dumped her out on the streets, because of the trouble it posed. as sickening as it is, im not surprised. this is one of the things about people here that i am not at all proud of. so after a few weeks of tender loving care provided by my aunt, and lots of feeding, the kitten was totally healthy. and soon enough, she revealed her true nature. as the most loving, caring cat in the world. my aunt takes care of her, and named her Smokey. She looks a lot like Leo, actually, with the black coat, and little white patch on her belly. Shes allowed to roam about the house, though the doors are always shut. She and the dog are best friends, and they play together. Shes really sweet, every time i see her, i always reserve my softest, most gentle petting for her. And boy, does she like it. Anyway, i saw her yesterday, and felt like sharing her story with you. Shes a year and a half, pleasantly fat, and very cute. *sigh* whenever i look at her, i feel very proud of my aunt. i mean, not many people would look after a blind cat, but she did. well then, i think ive said enough. SO ENDS STORY TIME WITH FANWARRIOR, HAVE A NICE DAY AND THANK YOU FOR READING! ~fanwarrior
