STRIKE UPDATE: In addition to the on going STRIKE by the University lecturers, which has entered is fourth month, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has told its members to commence their own nation-wide strike by monday for non-payment of their salariés, August and september, they said it is to protest their ill treatment by the federal govt. Asking why their salaries were not paid despite the fact that they have been working since the ASUU strike began to keep the institutions running. They warned that unless their 2-month salaries are paid, they will not résumé work.
