SUB 1HR SESSION. They might hurt, but hill repeats in the aero position are a great way to develop tri-specific power. After a 20min warm up, find a hill that takes at least a minute to climb at hard effort. Perform 10 hill repeats down on your aerobars with 2mins of easy pedalling between each climb. Focus on keeping your core engaged and pedalling with good form on each effort. Also, use a big gear so your pedalling at only 50-60rpm.
