SUB-TIMISTIC! Organizers of the 49th International Yachting Week of Mar del Plata , played mid-February in Argentina got a shock this year. You have 170 Optimist regatta fully started when suddenly a submarine periscope begins his Argentine attack , then emerges in the middle of small soapbox before smashing a buoy of the course with its huge rudder ! Submarine Class TR 1700, the submersible is 66 meters long, 6.50 meters wide, moving 2,200 tons - and incidentally with a navigation radar , active sonar and passive sonar. This is a clear sign of the incompetence of our armed forces, complained Julio Martinez , Argentine deputy, after this impressive incident. It caused panic among the kids , but without any injuries .
