SITUATION: At 9:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “SENIANG” was estimated based on all available at 245 km South Southeast of Cuyo, Palawan (8.7°N, 121.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West Southwest at 13 kph. ACTIONS TAKEN: December 29, 2014 • PDRRMC Capiz conducted information, education and communication activities regarding the coming of the typhoon Seniang • PDRRMC - OpCen 24/7. • Capiz PDRRMC/ CERT response team, are on standby and continuously monitoring the AOR. • Continuously monitoring the weather situation, water level and amount of rainfall in the whole Province of Capiz. December 30, 2014 • Governor Tanco, directed to aim for zero casualty and all LDRRMCs and LDRRMOs on alert • Response units (BFP, PNP, 3ID Philippine Army, PCG) on alert for possible flood deployment. • Manila-Roxas flight of Philippine Airlines was cancelled this morning, said Roxas City CAAP head Martin Terre • Philippine Coast Guard Roxas City Station has cancelled all sea vessels to sail to ensure the safety of seafarers, fishermen and passengers • Jamindan MDRRMC alerted all BDRRMCs to take precautionary measures • Ivisan MDRRMC on standby • Dumalag MDRRMC activated and conducting monitoring and ocular inspection. • Panay MDRRMC on alert, continuous monitoring and all BDRRMC were advised to be on alert • MDRRMC on alert, PERT and all rescue personnel on stand by and activated all BDRRMCs • Sigma MDRRMC on alert and continuous monitoring is being conducted. Sigma Emergency Response Unit (S.E.R.U.). PNP, BFP and Concerned Barangay captains are on stand-by and are also conducting continuous monitoring. Municipal heavy equipment and rescue vehicles are on stand-by. • Panitan MDRRMC on alert and residents in low lying areas were advised to evacuate to higher ground and designated evacuation centers in their respective barangays. • Roxas CDRRMC on alert and activated 24/7 OPCEN, coordinated with all the response units (PNP, BFP,PCG) and the BDRRMCs and CSWDO on stand by for possible needs of evacuees. • 3ID Philippine Army stationed at Mambusao to assist and pre-position for possible rescue operation needed December 31, 2014 • Continuously monitoring the weather situation, water level and amount of rainfall in the whole Province of Capiz. • Pre-positioned Dump Trucks at Agkilo Panitan to assist the public • Capiz Emergency Response Team conducted ocular inspection to the different municipalities in the province of Capiz • Philippine Airlines flight from Manila-Roxas and Roxas-Manila resumed • Philippine Coast Guard Roxas City Station has issued clearance on the resumption of operation of all sea vessels to sail
