SUNDAY DIGEST THE COPYCAT JESUS!!! Copied and pasted. SERAPIS, a mix between Osiris and Apis. Also the Greeks added to this Egyptian Core a number of Hellenistic deities, including Zeus, Helios, Dionysius and Asclepius to form the finished product. Then we gonna see how it compares to Jesus Christ. OSIRIS: He was risen from the dead aka RESURRECTION. Also identified as Asar. Carried a crook and a flail. The crook represents him as a SHEPHERD GOD. Was identified as king of the underworld and god of reincarnation. When they had festivals to commemorate his death his followers planted grain in the ground. The death of the grain and the death of the god were one in the same. The cereal was identified as the god that came from the heaven, the bread by which man lived. The resurrection of the god symbolized the rebirth of the grain. During the 12th dynastic period (1991-1802 B.C.) they performed passion plays to commemorate the death and resurrection of Osiris. Also a ritual was performed where they baked sacred bread and they ate the bread as if they were eating the sacramental god. The bread represented Osiris body which according to legend was cut into pieces by Set. The reason why Osiris was incorporated to become Serapis was to satisfy the tastes of the Egyptians and the Hellenistic Greeks that visited since Ptolemy Soter was the first European Pharaoh of Egypt (323-283 B.C.). This was done to keep a rebellion from happening. This occurred during the Hellenistic Period of Egypt, the last dynasty of Egypt (323-30 B.C.). Then during the last supper, he made references about breaking of the bread to symbolize his body being broken and eat it in remembrance of him. APIS: A bull deity that served as a mediator between man and the all powerful god. The bull represented a king that became a god after its death. The bull was later risen again. Apis was conceived by a flash of lightning from the heavens. JESUS: Is said to be the one to act a mediator between man and the all powerful god. One reason why people say their prayers in Jesus name. Jesus was looked at as Messiah, king of the Jews, then ascended to heaven to sit on the right hand of the father god, making him a god. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Combine the stories of Osiris and Apis and you get Serapis. Was created by Ptolemy Soter, the first European king of Egypt. The title Soter means savior. And Serapis was given the title of Christos. Also if you look up Soteriology it means the DOCTRINE OF SALVATION.....being saved. Ok so are you convinced yet? Oh dont worry, I have more.......now Im going to go into the Hellenistic elements into this equation. ZEUS: King of the Olympian gods. Symbolized as a bull, oak tree, lightning bolt, and eagle. When he was born a prophecy was told to his father Cronus that he was going to be overthrown by his son. To prevent this whenever his wife had children he would take them and swallow them . When Zeus was born, his mother Rhea hid him but wrapped up a stone in SWADDLING CLOTHES and presented it to Cronus and he swallowed the stone thinking it was Zeus. Zeus was the patron of hospitality and guests. He watched over business and trade and punished dishonest merchants. Also Olive trees were sacred to Zeus. The Lord of the sky, controlled the skies. JESUS: Baby Jesus was hunted by king Herod and he killed the innocent children attempting to do so. Also Jesus was dressed in swaddling clothes. Jesus was always invited to peoples homes everywhere he went. Jesus was upset with the merchants at the temple courtyard and destroyed their merchant stations because they were being dishonest. IE DEN OF THIEVES. Also you always see references of Jesus being at the Mt of Olives, matter of fact that is where he ascended into heaven. Jesus had power to calm the storm when they were of the boat. Oh I have more...NEXT!!! HELIOS: The personification of the sun. The sun god. The Roman version of him is Sol Invictus. Helios is said to have been all seeing. Always pictured with a sun disc around his head, and a crown of rays spiking out of his head like a crown. JESUS: Called the son of god. In pictures with Jesus in it, he always has a sun disc behind his head, identifying him As a solar deity. When on the cross, he had a crown of thorns on his head. DIONYSUS: The god of winemaking, ritual madness, ecstasy, and the harvest. Known as the liberator, which means to save a person from oppression. Wine, music, and dance free his followers from self consciousness of fear and care. The followers end up possessed by the god himself. His followers were considered as a cult of souls where they did a blood offering. Dionysus was associated with the FIG TREE. He was called he of the winnowing fan. That is described as being used to separate the chaff from the grain. The god was said to be twice born. Also as an infant Zeus carried Dionysus to Nysa which is associated with Ethiopia and Egypt. He was a healer since he healed King Midas from the Midas touch. He told Midas to go bathe in a certain river and he would be healed. He was also a god of resurrection as well. JESUS: Turned water into wine. Also Jesus cursed a certain FIG TREE because it didnt have no figs on it. Also in the parable of the tares (Matthew 13: 24-30) he gave mention of separating the Wheat from the tare. Either way the comparison is similar. He also talked about being born again. As a infant Jesus was carried off into Egypt. Also Jesus healed by telling certain folk to go wash in a pool of water. And Jesus raised the dead. ASCLEPIUS: God of medicine and healing. Raised folk from the dead. Zeus killed him for it but he raised him back up. JESUS: Performed many healings and raised folk from the dead. CONCLUSION: There are parallels between Serapis and Jesus. I just broke down who Serapis was and compared it to Jesus. I say the gig is up. And the thing is these stories all predate Christianity. We are talking about prior to 323 B.C. Of course the excuse is the devil made the lie this way from the start. Yeah right, LETS BE FOR REAL NOW. THEY HELLENIZED THE KEMETIC AKA EGYPTIAN RELIGIOUS SYSTEM, MADE THEIR OWN GOD FOR POLITICAL REASONS AND PUT IT OUT TO THE MASSES. AFRICANS BOUGHT INTO THE SYSTEM, AND THEN ADD THE COUNCIL OF NICEA, THEY PUT OUT ANOTHER LIE. NOW TODAY PEOPLE SAY JESUS IS REAL.
