SUPER important meeting in 20 minutes. Will you guys pray? One issue that we have run into over and over and over in Uganda is that of widows/single mamas being chased off their land. Men from their villages, family members, etc will decide that the woman needs to leave the land and not be compensated in any way. Its a HUGE issue that leaves mamas homeless, stranded and with no land to cultivate, it leaves them and their children very hungry. It has also been quite dangerous. In 20 minutes I have a phone call with one of the directors at IJM (International Justice Mission). I have been praying for a connection to them for MONTHS and God found a way. This is exactly what they help with in Uganda. Pray our meeting goes well and they can help us understand the issue of land grabbing more as well as know how to address it for our mamas!
