SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT: "Voters have a fundamental right to know - TopicsExpress

SUPREME COURT JUDGMENT: "Voters have a fundamental right to know about their candidates and non-disclosure or suppression of information in affidavits by candidates will result in their nomination being rejected." GOVERNMENT NEGATES THE JUDGMENT: The judgement is unwarranted; there is a legal remedy for filing false affidavits. AAP GOES BY SUPREME COURT AS ALWAYS: AAP has already stepped on toes of all political parties challenging them to tread its lines with exemplary transparency that invariably converge on Supreme Court directives. Such blatant denials of Supreme Court orders by the entire polity have been threatening democracy, which may have serious repercussions. It’s high time we stood for rights and values inherent in democracy.
