SUSPECTED government interference on Tuesday disrupted a Economics Association of Zambia debate for presidential candidates at Taj Pamodzi Hotel. The event, which was scheduled to feature PF’s Edgar Lungu, UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema, FDD’s Edith Nawakwi and MMD’s Nevers Mumba, was thrown into confusion after a ZNBC television crew that was supposed to record the event pulled out after receiving instructions from their superiors to leave the venue.
