Sabrina Gelman Says I have a 5 year old son with ASD, severe ADHD, SPD, and developmentally delayed. I dont know what to do. He refuses to use toothpaste. So we have been brushing without it. But even without he only lets me brush for a few seconds before he as a meltdown. I work for the University of Florida College of Dentistry as a dental assistant. I know the importance of brushing and using toothpaste. Im at a loss. Please help. Ive tried everything and to make matters worse he grinds his teeth so bad that hes broken 5 teeth. I dont know what to do. Any advice would be great.
