Sad & Happy Du Jour—Sad: My new friends, the Hansens, went to see Waiting for Godot with Ian McKellen & Patrick Stewart, and they didnt take me! Happy: I was overwhelmed by love many times over today—One friend blew my mind by writing and committing to the ether an outrageously loving and biased profile of me, and now what I want to know is, Where are my action figures being sold? Friends just returning from a European bike tour came to visit within an hour of landing back in Provo, and its good to have them home. Another friend came over to visit and left without his own boots so Id have one less bit of costuming to worry about for this weekend. A friend I treasure assisted me with my directing today and told me he loves me. My cast—my friends—showed up again today like theyve done for nearly two weeks straight, and did their beautiful funny best for me and for our little play. I enjoyed an unexpected Real Deal hug from a new friend I crossed paths with this evening. I received warm messages from various friends. My best friend of all was waiting up for me when I got home. Sometimes Im astonished to have such good people in my life. This morning I had a dream epiphany about relationships, and this days done nothing but refer back to that moment when my brain cracked part of the love code.
