Sad news from the Cookie Compound today. Gregory Sanders, our esteemed drummer since 2010, will be taking a long sabbatical from his duties-- actually, from any activity requiring his arms. A completely torn rotator cuff on one shoulder (and maybe the other) requires surgery and a lot of physical therapy. If youve seen Gregory play, you are having an appropriately melancholy feeling right now. This sentence holds the space where one would use a clever phrase along the lines of cookie crumbles, which is a little too on-the-nose if you ask me. Though our drum throne currently lacks a sweaty behind, Gregory remains an Associate Cookie if only because we still hang out with him all the time. In less sad news, we have recently been in the studio to record some tracks which should be released in the coming months.
