Sad to hear today that a friend and mentor, Dave Borders, passed away in Waxahachie. We went to church with the Borders family and they were volunteer leaders in our youth group. Dave Borders was a faithful servant and loved the Lord. He was the person instrumental in my going to Baylor University. He encouraged me, and help me fill out all of my paperwork and was just as excited as I was when I was accepted and went on to graduate. After all, he was a Baylor Bear himself. Rest in Peace, sweet Dave. We will see you on the other side.
