Safe to say I have had the best summer of my life met some absolute diamonds you know who you are and created so many memories all that will last a lifetime. The summer has flown by and all started back in June when I packed my extremely oversized suitcase to go to America for two months and work on a summer camp as a ropes counsellor. I honestly cannot think of a more rewarding job and when reflecting back it makes me smile knowing I have impacted a small handful of children and their lives, thats something ill keep with me forever and is an experience in itself. After 7 weeks at camp what more than to extended my trip another month so that I could travel the US with three very special people and visit 8 beautiful states. I cant thank you three enough for making me giggle more than I knew I could and for most importantly making me realise that sometimes you have to let go of the past in order to fulfil the future. Before I knew it summer in the US was sadly over. However my summer didnt end there only had a short stop home for three days before heading to Ibiza for one of the best holidays of my life, even though admittedly nearly two weeks later I am still recovering. Then just when I thought my summer couldnt get any better I get accepted into Cardiff Metropolitan University to study Events Management. I have officially had the summer of a lifetime and thank you so much to everyone who made it one to remember and foremost to all my close family and friends for supporting me in every way possible ✌️
