Safely home from KUMed. Good appt. with transplant team and my labs were all perfect! No need to go back until this time next year. Happy happy Don! The drive over was kinda nasty mostly from flying slush threw up by semis, very few accidents that I saw. Decided not to hang out in town and came home, with a slight side trip to Olathe to pick up some pastries at an adorable little Mexican bakery, San Jose Bakery. It was getting close to 1pm so dropped into a nearby Taco Via and had the absolute worst burrito ever! Was supposed to be beef and bean and I paid an extra dollar and a half for extra meet. Guess what had nothing more than just a speck or two of ground beef! And it was almost cold as well. I was not amused. The funny thing was, this place was plastered wall to wall with religious stuff, huge 10 Commandments on the wall beside the menu, signs at both entrances about being christian and religious plaques all over the walls. Makes me wonder if they cant show their religion by their way of life, so they try to make up for it with a public show of stuff like this. The few times Ive been taken advantage of by a business or a person, they have invariably been folks who trumpet their religion very publicly like this. Makes you wonder?
