Safety Officer Specialised Overseas Services - Dubai Client is looking for a candidate (Position: - Safety Officer) he should be Diploma in Chem Eng or B.Sc (Tech) for the position; basically we are looking for someone who has knowledge/exposure in chemical industry on the safety norms in terms of keeping hazardous chemicals, chemical compound at certain temperature. They will train the other industrial safety procedures internally to that person. But if they get a combination of both then it would be great. He should be good in communication as he is the one who will be responsible to develop the safety SOPs. Position: - Safety Officer Job Description To plan preventive maintenance schedule for all equipments / machinery in the factory. To draw contingency plan, in case of emergency. Plant shutdown maintenance & control measures. Ensure that a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) has been completed prior to the start of any new project. Develop and apply safety standards and procedures applicable to the hazards in advance to ensure that all equipment will be available at the project site prior to actual need. To study & draft the safety policy as per the industry guidelines and actively promote and implement the same. Ensure requirements to provide guidance to project management; participate in monitoring and controlling HSE standards, applicable laws and regulations; and design and review a project plan or schematic to ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and Company/Client requirements. Take prompt action to correct unsatisfactory conditions brought to attention. Develop and effectively plan, organize, co-coordinate, monitor, implement and control overall projects HSE plan. Working closely with the managements and advising about the proper site Safety requirements. To review the safety systems and other factors responsible for safety. Monitoring the activities to prevent employees from potential hazard at all the factory location. Inspection of equipments, tools and plants. Closely liaison with the maintenance supervisor to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedule activities for all the equipment / machinery in the factory at all different location.
