Saga of the cat locked on a hotel (it is now closed for the Winter!)....Yesterday, I heard a cat crying but couldnt see it til I looked up and saw the poor thing between the roof and attic rooms of the Miray hotel (next to Blondies), Muzi (the hairdressers opp) has been fab - he rang the fire brigade but we waited 3 hrs and no one came. He then rang the owner of the Miray, who said hed be along yesterday evening and let it out. I went back today and the poor things still there, Muzi again rang the owner who said he was in Mugla, and anyway, its only a cat - the tosser! We rang the fire brigade again and waited In the meantime, 2 Zabita guys (similar to police) were going past and I happened to know them, and begged them to chase it up. Fair enough, the engine arrived shortly after. Up went the cherry picker (narrowly avoiding the palm trees!) and a guy spent ages looking around for the cat but it hid. I suppose all the noise frightened it, The guys had to leave empty-handed. Muzi then climbed up the hotel and got onto the roof with some food but the cat wouldnt let him near. Muzi promised to get in touch with the owner of the Miray again. Keep your fingers crossed guys that we can get this poor cat down soon. x
