Sage was given this adorable hat today at Childrens. She poses with Dr. Literi and friends. Unfortunately she was unable to have her chemo treatment due to low platelet count which I suspicioned when she started having bruises show up over the past week. Dr. explained that the 1 med (Carboplatin) was starting to affect her bone marrow which is normal but now takes longer for her to rejuvenate more platelets. Will hopefully have count back up next Friday and then they will reduce the Carboplatin dosage as per their protocol.
